Dental Bonding is a painless way to make minor tooth repairs using a tooth-coloured material called composite resin. Composite resin is put on the tooth, then shaped and hardened with an ultraviolet light.
How do we do it?
A clear plastic matrix is placed between the tooth being treated and its neighbouring tooth. A matrix is a thin, clear plastic film that protects other teeth from stray composite resin.
The tooth surface is then sculpted to better adhere to the composite resin, which will be colour matched to your teeth to stay subtle. After the last layer of composite resin is hardened, the tooth is shaped and polished. The finished tooth looks and feels natural and smooth.
