Dr. Tammy Herzog takes pride in all that she does. She graduated with honours from both the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and the University of Toronto with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduating from dental school, she did a residency at Sunnybrook hospital where she received certification in providing sedation to patients. She has also been specially trained and certified to provide Invisalign treatments to her patients. Dr. Herzog is an active member in many organizations as well as participating in several charitable foundations in her free time. She is a strong believer in education and as such participates regularly in many continuing education courses.
Dr. Herzog has been providing exemplary care to her patients for over fifteen years and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. While providing a full array of treatments for her patients, she has also has taken a particular interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and Invisalign treatment. She believes everyone deserves to feel great and love their smile!! This belief has always served as a cornerstone in her practice and as such, she is committed to not only educating her patients, but embarking on the journey to help them achieve their goals.
Dr. Stern began his academic career at the University of Toronto. During his studies in a biology major program he was accepted into the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto. Dr. Stern graduated from the faculty of dentistry as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1989. Dr. Stern has amassed a vast amount of experience, knowledge and expertise since he graduated. With 27 years of clinical practice as well as continuous ongoing education, Dr. Stern has learned how best to treat patients, with compassion empathy accuracy and utmost professionalism, which are values held close to his heart and evident to all patients who have been treated by him.
Removing the stigma associated by patients of dental treatment anxiety is something that Dr. Stern is very passionate about. He takes exceptional pride in his anesthetic delivery techniques and quite often patients are pleasantly surprised at how comfortable treatment can be. In many cases they totally unaware of any discomfort at all during treatment.
Dr. Stern is Board certified by the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine as Diplomat in the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, a potential life-threatening disease affecting many aspects of health. Dr. Stern works closely with medical doctors specializing in the sleep medicine to treat this annoying and potentially fatal condition with the use of oral appliances that are custom-made for each patients need.
Snoring and Sleep Apnea affect more than just the snorer or apneac that stops breathing many times throughout the night Dr Stern feels; "There is nothing more rewarding in the treatment of patients than improving their quality of life, and quite often, their bed partners as well."
As well as attending continuous education courses regularly to update and maintain clinical skills and to keep abreast of the latest techniques and technology breakthroughs, Dr. Stern also attends international conferences where he has had the privilege to learn from and meet some of the most renowned an accomplished clinicians in the world.
Dr. Stern and his wife Irena have, two children, Daniel and Carly. Dr. Stern is obsessed with health and fitness and makes it a regular part of his life and practice. His hobbies include skiing, ice hockey, swimming and running. He is also an audiophile and music lover and spends a fair amount of free time listening and relaxing to music.

Dr. Allen Aptekar studied at the University of Toronto, earning his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He continued his studies at the University Of Saskatchewan College Of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with distinction. Dr. Aptekar then went on to complete a hospital residency at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center and the University of Toronto with a special focus on emergency dentistry and oral surgery.
Dr. Allen Aptekar has received numerous awards and accolades in his decade of work in implant dentistry. He holds diplomate status with the American Board of Oral Implantology, a designation that only 400 dentists/surgeons have in the world. He holds diplomate status with the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Aptekar is also on faculty with the Misch International Implant Institute Canada. He has authored and co-authored several articles in refereed professional dental journals. Dr. Aptekar is also the editor in chief of Spectrum Implants, which is the only peer reviewed dental implant journal in Canada. He is also actively involved with many other dental implant editorial boards, and study clubs.
Dr. Aptekar is actively involved in the advancement of implant dentistry. He continuously lectures on many dental implant related surgical topics to both dentists and denturists. He practices in the greater Toronto area, where he limits his practice to the surgical and restorative phases of dental implantology and bone augmentation.
Dr. Jaclyn Altman completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Toronto and her Master of Science in Periodontology from Columbia University in New York, where she received the Melvin Morris Award of Excellence in Periodontics. She is currently a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is a member of The Ontario Dental Association, Ontario Society of Periodontists, and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Outside the office, Dr. Altman enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Dr. Andrew Steinman comes to us with a wealth of experience and knowledge that he has gained through education and patient care. Dr. Steinman is dedicated to putting our patients first and ensuring that everyone gets the health care they deserve, while playing an active role in their own oral health decisions.
Dr. Steinman graduated from McGill University and moved to Toronto to begin practicing in the GTA area. Dr. Steinman is in good standing with the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and enjoys participating in continuing education to stay up to date with advances in dentistry.
He prides himself in his comprehensive quality dentistry and his warm chair side manner. He will review all treatment options and take the time to answer any questions you may have to ensure that you feel comfortable and happy with your treatment choices. Dr. Steinman is also conveniently fluent in French.
Dr. Steinman is married and has two wonderful children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey, baseball and is an avid skier.
Dr. Zack Cohen studied at the University of Western Ontario, earning his Bachelor of Science degree with an Honours Specialization in Psychology. He began his journey in dentistry with a solid foundation at the New York University College of Dentistry, where he graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Cohen then went on to expand his knowledge and skills by completing a general practice hospital residency in the Bronx (NY) at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, an adult level 1 trauma center affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine.
He is a dedicated dentist committed to providing you and your family with exceptional oral healthcare in a warm and welcoming environment.
